Waterfront property keeps getting pricier around the world. In Australia, for example, a condo parking spot with a harbour view just went for $120,000 at auction. The highest-priced parking spot for sale on MLS in Toronto is $35,000 and in Vancouver $45,000. Quipped the auctioneer of the forlorn little spot: “You can even add value by sweeping the leaves from the corner and re-painting the lines.”
